WHAT WE BELIEVE
These statements do not exhaust the full extent of our beliefs.
SCRIPTURE
We believe the Old Testament and New Testament to be the Bible. The Holy Scriptures are inspired, inerrant, infallible, and preserved.
We use only the King James Version (KJV).
GOD
We believe one Triune God eternally exists in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each co-equal.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary.
He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross, shed His blood for the redemption of mankind, and arose the third day.
Whosoever shall call on His name in faith believing shall be saved.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin and righteousness.
The Holy Spirit is the Divine Teacher.
We believe that the sign gifts of the Holy Spirit such as speaking in tongues and healing were temporary.
RETURN OF CHRIST
We believe in the personal and imminent return of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ will rapture the church prior to the seven year tribulation period. At the end of the tribulation period, Jesus Christ will return to establish His earthly kingdom.
MAN
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God. Adam's sin caused the human race to fall. All mankind are sinners by birth and by choice. Man is saved by placing his personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His work on Calvary.
Man is saved by placing ones personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His work on Calvary where He shed His blood and died.
ETERNAL SECURITY
We believe that once one is saved that he is kept by God's power and is secure forever.
ETERNAL STATE
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all mankind.
The saved will be resurrected to eternal life. The unsaved will be resurrected to judgement and everlasting punishment.
THE CHURCH
We believe the church is made up of born again believers who have been Scripturally baptized by immersion. Scriptural offices are pastor and deacon.
ORDINANCES
We believe in two ordinances – baptism by immersion after salvation and the Lord's Supper.
MISSIONS
Missions is the obligation and privilege of every believe to be a soul winner. The church has been given the Great Commission to proclaim the gospel to everyone.
BIBLICAL SEPARATION
We believe we are to separate from worldly practices. We are to draw nigh to God.
MORAL ISSUES
We believe marriage is between one man and one woman.
